About The Position

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in a Pediatric Emergency Department to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. This role requires a valid Wisconsin or compact RN License, AHA BLS, and AHA PALS certifications. Experience with sedation (Ketamine/Propofol) is mandatory. Previous pediatric ER experience and Level I Trauma experience are highly preferred. Charting must be done in EPIC. A flu vaccine is required or willingness to obtain one.

Requirements

• Wisconsin or compact RN License
• AHA BLS certification
• AHA PALS certification
• Minimum 1.5-3 years of experience
• Previous pediatric Emergency Department experience required
• Experience with sedation (Ketamine/Propofol)
• Experience with EPIC charting
• Must have flu vaccine or be willing to obtain one
• 1 previous completed/successful travel assignment required

Nice To Haves

• AHA ACLS certification
• AHA TNCC certification
• Level I Trauma experience

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a pediatric Emergency Department setting.
• Administer sedation, including Ketamine and Propofol.
• Utilize EPIC for patient charting.
• Adhere to all required certifications and licenses.
