About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is required to perform in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Intermediate Care (IMC) setting, providing care to patients with complex conditions. The role requires floating to various units within Zone 1, performing responsibilities in multiple specialized areas, including Cardiac, Neuro, and Trauma, while focusing on adult to geriatric populations.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• 2 years of PCU/IMC experience.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• ACLS (AHA) certification.
• NIHSS certification.
• Experience with cardiac drips, insulin, and Ativan administration.

Nice To Haves

• Epic charting experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in PCU/IMC.
• Float throughout Zone 1 facilities as required, maintaining flexibility.
• Manage and titrate cardiac drips, insulin, and Ativan.
• Work with EPIC charting system.
