About The Position
Registered Nurse needed for Cardiac Step Down unit. Responsible for providing care to patients with a range of cardiac conditions, utilizing advanced cardiac knowledge and nursing skills.
Requirements
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Familiarity with Heparin, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Amiodarone drips
- Experience in telemetry and rhythm strip acknowledgment
Responsibilities
- Manage chest tubes and wound vacs
- Perform EKGs as needed
- Provide bedside and hourly rounding
- Communicate patient needs and updates to PCTs
