About The Position
Registered Nurse position in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. Responsible for providing safe, high-quality, compassionate care.
Requirements
- Current ACLS certification.
- Experience with cardiac drip and insulin drips.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compliance with hospital dress code, including wearing Royal Blue Scrubs.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as necessary.
- Monitor patient conditions, including vital signs and blood glucose levels, according to unit protocols.
- Ensure accurate documentation of each patient’s care and condition per shift.
- Operate unit-specific equipment such as Alaris IV pumps and Welch Allyn VS machines.
- Float to areas of competency as required by hospital needs.
