About The Position

Registered Nurse for a PCU unit focusing on adult oncology and trauma patients. The role requires careful administration of medications, including chemotherapy and titration of drips such as insulin and cardizem. Must be able to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to a diverse patient population.

Requirements

• Current RN license and certifications in ACLS and BLS.
• Minimum of 1 year of PCU and oncology experience.
• Familiarity with ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Must pass an open-book exam with a 90% score during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients in PCU with a focus on oncology and trauma.
• Administer medications, including chemotherapy and titratable drips.
• Collaborate with support staff, including nursing assistants and case managers.
• Participate in hourly rounding and maintain accurate patient records in EPIC system.
