About The Position
Sign-on Bonus up to $10,000 Available Piedmont Eastside is a 310-bed, multi-campus system of care offering comprehensive medical and surgical programs including cardiovascular, neurosciences, oncology, orthopedics, robotic surgery, rehabilitation, maternity with neonatal intensive care, behavioral health, bariatric, urgent care, and 24-hour emergency care at two locations The Progressive Care Unit bridges the gap between the Intensive Care unit and the medical-surgical units, providing high intensity nursing care. Our high-volume unit rapidly and safely transitions patients across the continuum of care.
Requirements
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing Required
- No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible Required
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. Required and
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred
- Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
Responsibilities
- The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
- He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.
- The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
