About The Position

The Palliative Care Coordinator provides daily direct patient care and guidance for the palliative care team. This role acts as a liaison between palliative care and the hospital staff and management to improve patient care, education, and marketing. The goal is to ensure the future development of the palliative care program within the Baptist Health system and the community.

Requirements

• Active RN license required
• BLS required
• Minimum 2 years hospice and/or palliative care experience required
• Degree in Nursing
• Strong team leadership skills
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and customer relations skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors degree preferred
• Hospice & Palliative Care certification preferred

Responsibilities
