About The Position
Seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in Asheville, North Carolina. The RN will provide care for patients recovering from anesthesia following surgery or other procedures.
Requirements
- Trauma experience and pediatric experience
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Experience in ventilator monitoring
- Able to work within the floating policy for peri-anesthesia (Endoscopy/PreOp/Phase II)
Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia patient care and monitoring
- Assist in transporting patients as needed
- Administer medication and manage ventilators as required
- Ensure accurate documentation within the Cerner system
