About The Position

Clinician Support Services at Presbyterian is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join a growing team dedicated to reducing administrative burden for providers and front line care teams. This innovative department centralizes and standardizes in basket work for Primary Care, allowing clinicians to focus more fully on patient care. Our work centers on medication refills, MyChart messages, and electronic prior authorizations, all supported by dedicated, uninterrupted time and evolving workflows that incorporate AI where appropriate. Requirements

  • State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
  • Degree from accredited academic nursing program (If a program is under conditional status, approval may be granted by system CNO)
  • Minimum ADN preparation with expectation of BSN completion within 5 years of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Manage patient care across multiple clinics and provider teams to ensure consistent, coordinated support
  • Act as a central point of contact for patients and care teams, providing clear communication and timely follow‑up
  • Process refill requests and MyChart messages using protocols and standard workflows to maintain safe, efficient patient care
  • Ensure messages are matured and prepped so providers receive complete, actionable information
  • Pilot new tools and workflows to drive efficiency, optimization, and innovation
  • Work closely with providers, MAs, care coordinators, and leadership to support collaborative, team‑based care
  • Support multiple clinics rather than being assigned to a single site, offering flexibility and system‑wide impact
