About The Position

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse works within the organization's policies and procedures and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse maintains standards of practice and coordinates patient care activities among assigned staff to provide quality nursing care.

Requirements

Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
Advanced certification in the field of specialty, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree.
Nursing experience in a hospital setting.
For PRN positions, one year in a hospital setting.
