About The Position

Join our dynamic ENT & Lung Clinic team in Kalispell, MT! This position supports the ENT & Lung Clinic in delivering exceptional care to patients with pulmonary and ENT conditions. It’s ideal for an RN who values variety, meaningful patient interaction, and collaboration with a dedicated team committed to outstanding outcomes.

Requirements

  • Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.
  • RQI Provider (BLS) within seven (7) days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever comes first, required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • BSN degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Rooming patients, obtaining medical history
  • Perform vitals, blood draws, IVs, and assist with other in clinic testing such as respiratory function evaluations.
  • Process medication refills and follow up on provider results
  • Conduct nurse assessments and report findings to providers
  • Patient reminder and follow up calls
  • Triage patient needs and medication refills
  • Work alongside specialty providers and interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care!
  • Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers or specialists for further evaluation or treatment.
  • Assist in coordinating and scheduling diagnostic tests, procedures, and follow-up appointments for patients.
  • Performs patient assessment.
  • Utilizes all available sources of information and incorporates the patient’s perception of illness.
  • Develops an individualized plan of care for each patient and updates the plan throughout the visit as appropriate.
  • Consistently identifies safety issues concerning the patient and staff during visit.
  • Independently reviews medication lists and provides ongoing medication or treatment education at the directive of physician or advanced practice provider.
  • Coordinates with healthcare team to provide continuity of care.
  • Participates in the development and delivery of education and competency validation of clinical staff.
  • Utilizes department Standard of Care and individualizes care provided on an on-going basis per department standards.
  • Administers medications per provider order.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to professionalism while undertaking and completing all department competencies.
  • Maintains regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership.
