This is a benefited, full time position generally working Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5pm. Hours will vary as needed. Located at Scripps Mercy San Diego in Hillcrest. Requirements

One year of RN experience
Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
Excellent interpersonal skills
Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors
Must be able to work autonomously
Current CA RN License
Current BLS Provider certification through the American Heart Association
Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.

Responsibilities

Provides direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice.
Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes.
The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision.
Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care, including delegating appropriately to the Medical Assistants.
