On our General Surgery 5D Unit, you will be caring for Lutheran’s Bariatric, Neurology, Spinal, and Orthopedic surgery patients. As an RN, you will deliver exceptional care throughout the patient care journey. You will interact directly with patients and their families, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and provide healthcare education as needed.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
External applicants: two years of recent related nursing
Internal applicants: less than two years of experience, but post-orientation/90-day probationary period considered with the Chief Nursing Officer level review and approval
Military RN experience considered
