About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse Level 11 Ortho Trauma and Urology Med/Surg position. The nurse will be responsible for organizing and providing patient care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. They will also act as a team leader, delegating tasks to other nursing personnel based on their qualifications and job descriptions. This position contributes to the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia Health, serving the community. The role also involves meeting the requirements of regulatory and accrediting agencies. It offers an opportunity to learn well-rounded nursing skills on a fast-paced unit within Essentia Health, which is the only Level 1 trauma center north of Minneapolis/St. Paul. The team is known for excellent communication, collaboration, and a welcoming environment.

Requirements

BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
Current nursing licensure in Minnesota
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from date of hire.

Responsibilities
