About The Position

We are looking to hire Registered Nurses (RN) for our Ortho Medical/Surgical Unit in Nampa! This is a 36 bed unit that treats patients with Medical, Surgical and Orthopedic needs with a wide range of medical conditions and illnesses that can include wound care and minor trauma cases. We are excited to introduce Trinity Health Virtual Connected Care™—a transformational team care model designed to improve patient care while providing nurses and care partners new opportunities and support. Locally based virtual RNs (vRNs) provide 24/7 care and help to patients and their families, while collaborating with bedside RNs and care partners to provide excellent care.

Requirements

Must be licensed in the State of Idaho as a Registered Nurse as defined by the Idaho State Board of Nursing.
Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
At hire, Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. (ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS)

Responsibilities

Provides professional nursing care in collaboration with members of the health care team in the ongoing assessment, planning and treatment of patients and families.
Utilizes resources wisely while promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being.
In addition to providing hands-on nursing care, works and serves in a broad range of capacities including, but not limited to, delegation, assessment, planning of care and treatment, teaching of the patient and the patient’s family.
