About The Position
Uses the Nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Works collaboratively with all other disciplines on assigned unit.
Requirements
- Current registration in New York State as an RN Licensure required.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- BSN required.
- Current BLS ACLS, PALS certification required.
- NIHSS -TCAR within 6 months of hire
- 2 - 3 years' experience in both scrubbing and circulating in major surgical cases required.
- Previous OR experience required.
- Excellent organization, communication, computer and interpersonal skills are needed.
- Able to push, pull and lift 25 pounds.
