Corewell Health is offering up to $10,000 in sign-on bonuses for this opportunity! This role is part of a Weekend Option Program where RNs/LPNs will be required to work 48 out of 52 weekends per calendar year. Weekends are defined as Saturday and Sunday for day shift and Friday and Saturday night for night shift. RNs/LPNs can request up to 48 hours of PTO on their weekend shifts as well as 48 hours of exchanging a weekend shift for a weekday shift, for a total of 96 hours ‘off’ of the weekend requirement. This would be given in accordance with unit guidelines with allotted PTO as well as peak times, etc. RNs/LPNs may request 1 holiday off per calendar year that falls on the weekend. The RN/LPN would only work the holiday if it fell on the weekend, they will not be moved off a weekend to work on a holiday. RN’s receive an additional $10/hour plus base pay and LPN’s receive an additional $8/hour plus base pay. The unit has 2 floors and 164 beds, providing care for long-term care residents and post-acute rehab patients. Nurse-patient ratios vary depending on the shift and the population served. The unit has a long-term care unit and a rehab unit. Each floor has designated units that focus on patient specialties, such as general rehab, neuro rehab, traumatic brain injuries, and cancer. It offers integrated services with a common mission: to provide goal-oriented, compassionate care while living a healthy and active life to the greatest level possible. The Rehab and Nursing Center-Kentridge is located on a 10-acre campus. Its indoor and outdoor spaces are designed to provide opportunities for improving independence, strength, and confidence. Two main floor courtyards provide outdoor space for rest and renewal. Most patient rooms are private, and have an attached bathroom and shower, television with cable, phone, and a large window. Each unit has a large and accessible living and dining space, and a menu-based meal service is provided.
