About The Position

At Castor Home Health Solutions, we are looking for a compassionate RN or LPN to provide 1:1 nursing care for a young adult during the school day. This is a great opportunity for a nurse who wants a consistent Friday shift, extra income, and meaningful 1:1 care without committing to a full weekly schedule. The shift begins at 6:30 AM in the home, where the nurse will assist with morning care before attending school with the young adult. The nurse will remain with them throughout the school day and return home with them afterward. This Friday-only opportunity is ideal for a nurse looking to add one dependable shift to their week while building a trusted relationship with one patient and family.

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN or LPN license
• CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
• Compassionate, dependable nurses
• Nurses who enjoy relationship-based care

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 skilled nursing care in the home and school setting
• Attend school with the young adult and provide care throughout the day
• Monitor vitals, administer medications, and perform treatments as ordered
• Support the young adult and family through compassionate, dependable care
• Complete simple real-time charting during your shift
