About The Position

Seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to serve at Grace Home, Essentia Health's long-term care facility in Graceville, Minnesota. This RN or LPN works 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, 36 hours weekly. Every third weekend and a holiday rotation are required. Sign-on bonuses are available: $7,500 for ASN, $10,000 for BSN (with 2-year commitment). Requirements

  • Education as required for licensure.
  • Current nursing licensure in the state of Minnesota upon hire.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month of hire.
  • Verification of your legal right to work in the United States
  • Health screening and immunization review
  • Verification of applicable licensure, certifications, education, and experience
  • Background checks including criminal, urine drug screen and MVR where required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for organizing and providing care to residents through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions.
  • Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.
  • A care giver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of primarily elderly patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members.
  • Works both cooperatively and independently, to work efficiently under stress.
