RN or LPN Long Term Care - 12 Hours Weekly

About The Position

Seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to serve at Essentia Living Center, our long-term care facility in Fosston, Minnesota. This RN or LPN works 12-hour shifts, an average of 30 hours per week. Every third weekend and a holiday rotation are required. Shift start: 6:00am Shift end: 6:30pm

Requirements

Current RN or LPN licensure in appropriate state(s) of employment
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month
Education as required for licensure

Responsibilities

Organizing and providing care to residents through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Delegating aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions.
Contributing to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia and meeting the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.
Assuming responsibility and accountability for a group of primarily elderly patients for a designated time frame and providing care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members.
Working both cooperatively and independently, to work efficiently under stress.
