RN or LPN - Family Medicine Clinic
About The Position
The Jamestown Family Medicine Clinic is looking for a nurse to join their team in a full time role! This role will work with various age groups and diagnosis. Utilizes team nursing with a very dependable and cohesive group. Apply your scope of practice to its fullest with the vast amount of skills utilized with the populations we serve. Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with no weekends or holidays. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will participate in the implementation and evaluation of dialysis patient care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific licensure, competencies and certifications.
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
