About The Position
This position is for an RN First Assist working a day shift, Monday through Friday, from 0630 to 1500, with after-hours call responsibilities including nights, weekends, and holidays. The role requires 1-2 years of experience as an RNFA. CVOR experience is optional.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- 1-2 years of experience as an RNFA
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification
Nice To Haves
- CVOR experience
- Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) certification in the state of practice
- Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Status (PEARS)/Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Association of perioperative Registered Nurses (AORN) membership
Responsibilities
- Provide first assist services during surgical procedures.
- Participate in after-hours call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
