About The Position

RiverView Health, a community-owned, membership-based non-profit organization established in 1898, is the sole community hospital in Crookston, MN. It operates a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program (RiverView Recovery Center), RiverView Home Care, and five primary care and specialty clinics. Requirements

Current State of Minnesota RN license.
Current American Heart CPR certification.
Current ACLS certification.
Current PALS certification.
If ACLS and PALS are not current, they need to be obtained within 6 months of hire or employment will be terminated.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of one year Operating Room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensures the safety of the patient within the intra-operative phase during the surgical procedure.
Works in collaboration with Surgeons, Surgical Technologist, CRNA, and other nursing staff.
Manages all necessary care inside the surgery room.
Assists the surgical team in maintaining sterility.
Creates a comfortable and safe environment for the patient as well as the surgical staff.
Ensures integrated teamwork.
Uses sound judgment, interpersonal communication skills, and critical thinking skills to evaluate the patient’s needs and ensure a positive outcome.
