About The Position

The RN OR Circulator works in Inpatient Main Surgery (IPS), a 17-suite operating room that performs open heart, cardiothoracic, neuro, spine, orthopedic, bariatric, robotic, vascular, gynecological, urogynecologic, and general surgery procedures. The department performs a combination of inpatient and outpatient procedures, mainly for adults, and averages 850 procedures monthly. Specialty team-based practice supports consistent, knowledgeable, and experienced care. Surgical staff work collaboratively with other healthcare providers in a respectful, compassionate, advocacy-oriented, and technologically advanced environment for patients and their families throughout the surgical process. The role is 0.9 FTE, with 36 hours per biweekly pay period, working three 12-hour day shifts per week.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing.
• Current Washington State RN license.
• Healthcare provider CPR certification.
• Current operating room experience as a circulator.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Competency in a scrub role.
• CNOR certification.
