About The Position
Nemours is seeking a RN (Operating Room) to join our Nemours Children's Hospital team in Orlando, Florida. This position involves three 12-hour shifts from 6:45 pm to 7:15 am, with a weekend rotation and holiday call required. Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando is the newest addition to the Nemours integrated healthcare system, featuring a 100-bed pediatric hospital with the area’s only 24-hour Emergency Department designed for kids and outpatient pediatric clinics. The hospital is designed by families for families, blending nature with healthcare innovation to provide world-class care. Nemours Children's Health is an internationally recognized pediatric health system serving over 1.7 million patient encounters annually across six states, with two freestanding children’s hospitals and a network of practices and partnerships. Requirements
- ASN required
- Active Florida or multi-state RN license, required
- Minimum of 6 months of RN experience required
- Valid American Heart Association BLS Certification (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date)
- Valid American Heart Association PALS (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date)
Nice To Haves
- National certification in area of clinical specialty (preferred)
- Experience in pediatric specialty area, preferred
Responsibilities
- Three 12-hour shifts 6:45pm-7:15am
- Weekend rotation
- Holiday call is required with a 30-minute response time
