About The Position

We are seeking an experienced RN Operating Room (RN Circulator) for a short-term contract assignment in an acute care surgical setting. The role involves circulating in the OR, supporting surgical teams, and ensuring patient safety and sterile technique throughout perioperative procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year acute care hospital OR RN experience required
• Strong circulating experience required
• Current RN License required
• Ability to work independently in surgical environment required
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills required
• English proficiency required
• BLS required

Nice To Haves

• Multi-specialty OR experience
• Acute care hospital surgical experience
• Perioperative nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Serve as circulating RN during surgical procedures
• Prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment prior to procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and patient safety standards
• Coordinate patient care throughout perioperative process
• Assist surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical teams during procedures
• Perform surgical documentation and maintain accurate patient records
• Monitor patient condition during operative procedures
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention and safety protocols
• Support efficient OR workflow and case turnover
• Participate in required call rotations including weekends and holidays
• Provide compassionate perioperative patient care
