Our Operating Room team manages a wide variety of complex surgical cases in an 18-suite Operating Room Department, including but not limited to organ transplants, orthopedic procedures and neurosurgical cases. Care is delivered in alignment with established standards, department guidelines and hospital policies and procedures. As an RN in this role, you will use strong assessment and critical-thinking skills to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and ensure the best outcomes for every patient. You will deliver exceptional care throughout the surgical journey, interacting directly with patients and their families to enhance their overall experience and provide education as needed.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) certification must be presented upon hire or within first year of employment based on the department service level RN is hired into
One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience
Periop 101 or validated OJT for the Operating room settings
