About The Position

To deliver nursing care to adult and geriatric patients utilizing the nursing process. Functions as a professional nurse and delegates patient care to those under his/her supervision.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in New Jersey.
• Completion of I.V. certification, Phlebotomy certification and Chemotherapy competency as per hospital policy.
• Maintain current American Heart Association certification in Basic Life Support for the Health Care Provider (BLS).
• Maintain current American Heart Association certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Recertification for BLS and ACLS is required every two years.
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification required

Nice To Haves

• Previous medical/surgical-oncology experience preferred.
