About The Position
Uses the Nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Works collaboratively with all other disciplines on assigned unit. Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills are needed.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current BLS required.
- Current Registration in New York State as an RN, Diploma and Licensure required.
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 year's Med/Surg experience preferred.
- Experience with oncology patients including chemotherapy administration preferred.
- Current ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certificate preferred or successful completion of ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy course within four months of hire.
- Oncology nurse certification preferred.
- BSN preferred.
