Cancer Center hours 7:30am -5:30pm 36hrs/wk. $5,000 Sign on Bonus! (WDH Nurses are not eligible) Salary Range: $38.71 - $67.87. Summary Accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessing patients’ clinical needs and nursing care requirements, ensuring nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients. Requirements

Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
Registered Nurse (RN) – State License: Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: Required
3 years of clinical nursing experience required.
Knowledge of the principles and skills of practical nursing necessary to provide safe, effective patient care and treatment.
Knowledge of age-specific care requirements for the populations served.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association (AHA): Preferred
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP): Preferred
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS): Preferred
Oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and detailed reports and records.
Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
Monitor, document, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions.
Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients’ responses and conditions.
