About The Position

Join a team of remarkable nurses who use compassion, collaboration, and expertise to care for inspiring patients. Provide care across multiple oncology areas, including Infusion, the Carbone Cancer Clinic Lab, and the Chemotherapy Clinic. Build meaningful, therapeutic relationships with patients and their families. Administer IV medications and chemotherapy treatments safely and effectively. Access central venous access devices for blood draws and place peripheral IVs using advanced techniques and technology designed to minimize patient discomfort and optimize site selection. Participate in ongoing oncology education and professional growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Graduate of school of nursing
  • 6 months of RN experience
  • Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire
  • Current CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Relevant Inpatient RN experience
  • Ambulatory experience
  • Relevant oncology experience
  • Chemotherapy experience
  • Experience with Venous Access Devices (VADs) and IV skills
  • Certification in specialty area of practice
