Sometimes, an Emergency Department visit is not long enough for caregivers to understand a condition or provide the appropriate recovery time. The Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) cares for patients awaiting results to determine if discharge or readmittance is necessary. As an RN on this team, you will deliver exceptional care, throughout the patient care journey. In this role, you will interact directly with patients and their families, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and provide healthcare education as needed.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross upon hire or within first year of hire
One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience
