About The Position
The RN will primarily work on the 1S Observation unit but will also be required to float to other Med-Surg units (Respiratory, Stroke, Cardiac, etc.) and possibly the ED if appropriately skilled/knowledgeable. This is a 36-hour per week position, night shift (7p-7:30a) with every other weekend required. Taking call would be a very rare occurrence. Current Epic EMR proficiency is required.
Requirements
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry/Med Surg experience
- Proficiency in reading Telemetry/BCRA
- Current Epic EMR proficiency
Responsibilities
- Work primarily on 1S Observation unit
- Float to other Med-Surg units and possibly the ED
- Maintain documentation and reporting using Epic EMR
