As our OB Registered Nurse (RN), you will help expectant mothers, laboring parents, and their newborns throughout the perinatal journey receive comprehensive, compassionate care so they can experience safe childbirth, a healthy recovery, and a confident transition into parenthood. Everyday you will monitor maternal and fetal well-being, manage labor progression, and provide immediate postpartum and newborn care. You will be expected to collaborate on comprehensive screenings (e.g., prenatal, labor assessments), conduct critical risk assessments (e.g., fetal distress, postpartum hemorrhage risk), provide vital preventative health education (e.g., birth plan discussion, breastfeeding initiation), and expertly coordinate care for diverse patient populations, leveraging technology to streamline processes. To be successful in this role, you must combine robust clinical knowledge of obstetrics and neonatology, technological proficiency (e.g., FHM, epidural management), genuine compassion, strong communication skills (e.g., labor coaching, family support), and an adaptable approach to learning and patient-centered care.
