About The Position

This role involves collaborating with leaders and staff to assess nursing educational needs and competencies. The position is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating nursing and clinical educational plans/programs, utilizing methods, measurements, and tools to evaluate the achievement of learning goals. Additionally, the role consults on the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of Nursing Professional Development (NPD) programs and performance processes that support core nursing and clinical competency across the organization. The position also manages performance and competency standards for inter-professional programs to support practice at the highest extent of licensure.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
Required professional licensure at time of hire.
