About The Position
Galleria Woods, a premier retirement community, is seeking a Part-Time RN Nurse Supervisor for its 30-bed Skilled Nursing Unit. This role involves supervising nursing staff, managing scheduling, providing direct resident care, administering medications, auditing records, and ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards. The position is for every other weekend, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a pay rate of up to $43/hour based on experience. It offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the State of Alabama.
- Minimum 6 months of nursing and supervisory experience (geriatric care preferred).
- Strong decision-making, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead assigned nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care.
- Manage scheduling and staffing to maintain compliance.
- Provide direct nursing care and respond to resident health changes.
- Administer medications and perform first aid as needed.
- Audit resident records for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Communicate daily with the Director of Health Services.
- Ensure emergency procedures are understood and followed.
- Uphold resident rights and facility quality standards.
