About The Position

Arch Vista is a comprehensive mental health and addiction treatment facility offering 24/7 medical detox, addiction recovery, inpatient psychiatric care, PHP and IOP. We serve adults across Missouri with compassionate, evidence-based treatment in a modern, welcoming environment. As a Nurse Supervisor, you will be the steady hand on the unit, coordinating care, mentoring the team, and keeping the milieu calm, safe, and moving forward. We are looking for team members who can commit to at least 3 shifts per month.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• 2+ years inpatient psych or emergency psych experience
• Must be 21 or older

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred
• Prior charge experience a plus
• Calm communicator with strong critical-thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-shift clinical leader: assign staff, prioritize admissions/discharges, and coordinate with intake and ED transfers.
• Support RNs/LPNs with assessments, med administration, restraint/seclusion per policy, and timely documentation.
• Lead real-time de-escalation and code responses; ensure post-event debriefs and learning.
• Validate rounds, safety checks, and environment-of-care standards; escalate facilities/security needs.
• Precept new hires and students; champion competencies and policy adherence.
• Float between units/shifts to cover needs; learn new routines quickly.
• Build rapport fast with patients and teams while maintaining consistency of care.
