RN Nurse Manager (LTC)
About The Position
We are currently seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager for the Long Term Care Unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills that promote employee engagement and exceptional leadership skills that foster department and interdisciplinary teamwork and productivity. The Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager position is responsible for the coordination and delivery of nursing care in a long-term care unit. The successful candidate will be supported by charge nurses, an Assistant Unit Manager, an Assistant Director of Nursing, and various internal departments.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse License with current registration in New York State
- Possess a minimum of 3 - 5 years related experience in a health-care facility
- A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
- Exceptional leadership skills that foster department and interdisciplinary teamwork, morale and productivity
- Strong verbal, written interpersonal skills that promote employee engagement with supervisors, peers and subordinates
