About The Position

We are seeking an experienced RN Nurse Manager for the Medical Telemetry Unit , overseeing operations, staff, and patient outcomes, while serving as a clinical leader and role model.

Requirements

Florida RN license or recognized compact license
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (within 30 days of employment if not current)
Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience
Minimum 2 years recent experience as charge nurse, CNC, or in nursing management in an acute care setting

Demonstrated leadership and clinical management skills in a telemetry or medical-surgical environment
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
A proactive, experienced nurse leader with a strong clinical background in acute care telemetry or med-surg, capable of managing a unit, mentoring staff, and driving excellence in patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Organize and manage patient care functions on an ongoing basis
Enhance patient outcomes through staff management, education, and monitoring of clinical processes
Serve as a role model for excellence in quality care, patient satisfaction, and continuous improvement
Collaborate with medical staff to improve patient outcomes
Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in planning and providing nursing care
Ensure compliance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act , physician orders, nursing standards, policies, and procedures
Oversee a 32-36 bed unit with assistance from Clinical Nurse Coordinators (CNCs) for leadership duties
