About The Position
HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is a 523-bed full-service acute care center with over 49 years of service in North Central Florida. We offer advanced care in cardiovascular, oncology, orthopedics, neurosciences, minimally-invasive and robotic surgery, bariatrics, women's health, and wound therapy. The hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and an Accredited Chest Pain Center . We are seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to perform high-quality imaging procedures on patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics, ensuring patient safety and exceptional diagnostic quality.
Requirements
- 1 year of CT experience
- Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of start date
- Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology School
Nice To Haves
- ARRT Registered Radiographer (R) & CT registry
- Acute care experience is not required
Responsibilities
- Perform CT and radiology procedures under the direction of a Radiologist
- Apply technical knowledge and independent judgment to produce accurate diagnostic images
- Prioritize patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Maintain quality standards for imaging and equipment operation
- Assist in designated areas or procedures requiring initiative and ingenuity
