About The Position

This is a contract/travel position for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The role requires an active RN license in Georgia and specific certifications. Experience in a Level IV/surgical NICU is necessary, with familiarity with common diagnoses such as CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF/EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, pulmonary hypertension, and pre/peri/post-operative care. The nurse must be willing to float between units and work at least one holiday if it falls within the contract period. A Flu vaccination is also required.

Requirements

• Active RN license in GA
• PALS required
• RN w/ level IV/surgical NICU experience
• Familiarity with common diagnoses: CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF/EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, pulmonary hypertension, pre/peri/post-op
• Willing to float
• Must have Flu vaccination

Nice To Haves

• NRP preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in a Level IV/surgical NICU.
• Manage common diagnoses including CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF/EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, pulmonary hypertension, and pre/peri/post-operative conditions.
• Float to other units as needed.
• Work at least one holiday if it falls during the contract period.
