About The Position

This is a contract/travel position for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The role requires an active RN license in GA and at least 2 years of NICU experience, specifically with level IV/surgical NICU experience. The nurse must be willing to float and possess PALS certification, with NRP being preferred. Common diagnoses encountered include CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF/EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, pulmonary hypertension, and pre/peri/post-operative conditions. A mandatory Flu vaccination is also required.

Requirements

• Active RN license in GA
• 2+ years NICU experience
• RN with level IV/surgical NICU experience
• Willing to float
• PALS required
• NRP preferred
• Flu vaccination

Nice To Haves

• NRP preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in the NICU.
• Float to other units as needed.
• Administer care for patients with diagnoses including CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF/EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, pulmonary hypertension, and pre/peri/post-operative conditions.
