Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of RN experience at a Community or Regional Level Newborn ICU
  • Registered nurse with 3 years of experience
  • Registered Nurse: CA
  • Basic Life Support - CPR
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program - NRP

Nice To Haves

  • Greater than 5 years of experience
  • Clinical Nurse Specialist Core - CNS-BC
  • Certified Lactation Counser - CLC
  • Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing - RNC-NIC
  • Stable Program - STBL

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes the nursing process to identify and meet educational and discharge needs of the patients.
  • Identifies changes in patients condition and inter-venes appropriately.
  • Provides patient care for a given patient assignment, either as a primary caregiver or by delegating and supervising as a team leader.
  • Works collaboratively with physician.
  • Reviews orders. Reports abnormal lab values and significant changes in patient findings.
