About The Position

This is a 100% FTE position for a Registered Nurse (RN) Navigator in Dermatology, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. While hours may vary based on departmental needs, this role does not require weekend or holiday work. The position is located at 1 S. Park St. in Madison, WI. The RN Navigator will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to guide patients and families, coordinate specialized patient care using knowledge of the Dermatology Clinic, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Required
3 years of relevant clinical nursing experience Required
Registered Nurse license in the state of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required
Basic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

Master's Degree in Nursing, Social Work, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field Preferred
1 year of relevant experience in the specific patient population being supported Preferred
Applicable Oncology certification based on patient population Preferred

Responsibilities

Work in collaboration with numerous multidisciplinary teams to help navigate patients and families.
Coordinate specialized multi-disciplinary patient care by utilizing specialty knowledge of the Dermatology Clinic.
Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
