About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN – Mother Baby for an exciting Travel or Local job in Neptune, NJ. This is a contract position for 13 weeks with a high possibility of extension or permanent placement. The schedule is Day Shift, with 3 x 12-Hour Shifts, from 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, totaling 36 Hours/Week.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required
- Active New Jersey RN License or Compact RN License required
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification required
- Minimum 3+ years of Mother Baby experience required
- Strong experience in postpartum nursing required
- Strong knowledge of newborn care
- Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and patient care skills
Nice To Haves
- 5+ years of relevant Mother Baby experience preferred
- Extensive postpartum nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care
- Plan, implement, and document individualized nursing care plans
- Perform comprehensive assessments and identify patient care priorities
- Deliver therapeutic nursing interventions in postpartum and newborn care
- Coordinate and manage care for assigned patients
- Document care accurately according to standards and patient acuity
- Advocate for evidence-based nursing practices
- Support patient-centered care aligned with professional nursing standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Perform other duties as assigned
