About The Position
Prime HealthCare Staffing, a national health care staffing company with over 20 years in the business, is looking for an experienced RN - Mother Baby for our customer in Salem, Virginia. The ideal candidate will possess a current Virginia license. This is a RN position in the CAPITAL DIVISION (20) Unit.
Requirements
- Current Virginia nursing license.
- At least 2 years of recent Mother Baby US nursing experience as a RN - Mother Baby.
- Current BLS and/or ACLS (AHA Preferred) and/or Specialty Certifications.
- Must complete Drug Screen and Background Screen.

Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to mothers and newborns in the Mother Baby unit.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and condition, reporting any changes to physicians.
- Educate patients and their families on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
