Supporting excellence in patient and family-centered care, the Site Based Float Pool provides critical nursing support to our acute care units at the Scripps La Jolla, Scripps Green and Scripps Encinitas hospitals. We invite you to join our highly engaged team of Float Pool Registered Nurses within MedSurg Tele where you will be responsible for providing direct patient care that includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. With quality patient and family-centered care in mind, the RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Requirements

  • At least one year of acute Med/Surg RN experience.
  • At least two years of long term/SNF/subacute care experience.
  • Graduate from an accredited school for nursing
  • Current CA State RN license
  • American Heart Association BLS certification

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Bariatric Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Providing direct patient care that includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes.
  • Takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team.
  • Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
