This is a Per Diem position with a Day shift schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, located at the Cancer Center in Fall River, MA.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
Current CPR certification required.
ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certification and/or IV management skills required.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of three years (3) Medical Surgical experience with special interest in Oncology is preferred.
Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred or become certified

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Manager, Patient Care, perform a wide variety of nursing duties involving providing comprehensive oncology education, treatment, and psychosocial support to the oncology patient and their families.
Actively support assigned committees, tumor boards, or other services the manager may assign.
