About The Position
CHI St. Alexius Health is seeking compassionate and driven Registered Nurses (RNs) to join their dynamic Medical Unit team in Bismarck, ND. The position is full-time and offers a new industry-leading wage scale, with new grads starting at $35.38/hour and competitive rates for experienced RNs. A significant sign-on bonus of up to $25,000 is available for eligible candidates. The role emphasizes patient advocacy, leadership through empathy, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, continuous skill development, and efficient management of patient care activities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- A nursing degree from an approved school of nursing.
- Current license to practice registered nursing in North Dakota or a compact state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtained shortly after hire).
- Exceptional organizational skills, strong clinical acumen, adaptability, and the ability to inspire confidence and collaboration.
- A deep-seated belief in #humankindness and an unwavering commitment to patient-focused care.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- At least two (2) years of clinical experience in a relevant specialty area.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive, patient-centered care for diverse patient populations, ensuring dignity and respect for all.
- Actively model and mentor the behaviors that define leadership, fostering a culture of continuous learning and support within the team.
- Work seamlessly with an interdisciplinary team – from physicians and specialists to care coordinators – leveraging effective communication to achieve the best outcomes for patients.
- Continuously develop skills, demonstrating expertise in unit standards, patient placement, and age-specific care.
- Organize personnel assignments, manage patient care activities, and maintain composure and efficiency in dynamic, fast-evolving situations.
