About The Position

As an RN at Saint Alphonsus Health System, you will provide professional, hands-on nursing care in collaboration with members of the health care team. You will care for adult and geriatric patients with progressive or intermediate acuity in a fast-paced Medical Unit, while assessing patients and families, planning and delivering care, and promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being. The RN serves as a patient advocate, maintains accurate and complete documentation, educates patients and families, administers prescribed medications and treatments, and uses resources wisely. The role also involves delegation and exercising sound judgment in clinical decision-making and nursing interventions. The position offers opportunities for career growth and advanced training. The schedule is full time, three 12-hour shifts per week from 7 to 7, with rotating weekends.

Requirements

• Current RN license.
• Multistate license holders must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days of hire.
• At hire, Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required; ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS.
• Other certifications may be required as identified in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
• Ability to adapt to change, pursue self-driven learning, and work as a team player.

Responsibilities
